Bendula Lodge (Batokunku)

Bendula liegt in Batakunku, zwischen Tanji und Sanyang. Unberührte Wälder ziehen sich die Atlantikküste entlang und beheimaten viele Affenarten. Die imWald verborgenen Teiche machen die Gegend zu einem Paradies für Vogelbeobachter. Der 20 km lange Strand lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Die Anlage besteht aus fünf Rundhütten und kann bis zu 10 Gäste beherbergen. Die Hütten sind mit Moskitonetzen in Fenstern und Türen ausgestattet. Fließendes Wasser und Strom erleichtern das einfache Leben fern vom Massentourismus.

Nemasu Eco-Lodge

Nemasu has 8 well made 'Africanized' beach huts finished with mostly local, natural materials. Each accommodation unit sleeps 1 to 4 guests, with mix of either private or shared bathing / toilet facilities.

Kobokote Lodge

 Location: Sanyang, 15 minutes walking distance to the beach

The lodging has an expansive garden with 20 bedrooms, each with private shower, flushing toilet, sink, seats and porch. All are in 16 huts and a 2 storey house. Kobokoto has a backup generator. 

Boboi Beach Lodge

Location: On Kartong beach, south west Gambia

Review: These are either basic round huts, or sea view bungalows (more space) on the beach; well away from main tourist areas and 60km from Banjul. Boboi has shared bathing facilities and toilets. There is a designated campsite on the beach.

Footsteps Eco-Lodge

Location:  In Gunjur, south west coast, 39km from Banjul capital.

Footsteps is an escape in the countryside in a large tropical garden setting and is 10 minutes drive to the beach. 9 modern Africanized huts with private shower, toilet and double or twin beds. It recycles all its water, uses natural water for the swimming pool, uses windpower and solar, employs permaculture landscaping and grey water filtration. *Airport transfers is provided. Backpackers are welcome.

The Gunjur Project Lodge

Location: Gunjur, short walk to beach

Rooms: 8, Swimming Pool ✔, En-suite ✔, Bar &

2 beds per room, each has its own shower and WC, treated mosquito nets, private terrace, and 240V sockets. All the accommodation is in a large, landscaped garden with drinks bar. The complex's water is from a borehole and its power supply is a mix of solar, back-up generator and batteries.

Sandele Bay Eco-Retreat

Sandele is a luxury beach lodge off-the-well-trodden-track in south west Gambia. There are bedrooms and suites, double or twin beds, private shower, composting toilet and private porch. The place is about 60km from Banjul, in the furthest south West Coast Region.

Location: On Kartong beachfront

En-suite ✔ . A group of simple hut rooms, each with its own shower / WC, 1 double bed and seating area. It's situated on a nearly deserted beach. It has solar power and a camping ground for those who want to pitch their own tents.
